The RX-CAN-HL is a highly configurable radio receiver with 2 independent CAN-Bus ports designed to fit into the Hetronic HS-1 housing. It is intended to extend the possibilities provided by previous generation CAN receivers. The RX-CAN-HL includes one onboard radio interface, one external radio interface, one RS232 interface (for Cable Control and configuration), one USB device interface (for configuration and software updates), two Main Contact output relays, two change-over output relays, four digital outputs, four analog inputs and two CAN interfaces. The RX-CAN-HL supports half-duplex feedback using the onboard radio interface and full-duplex feedback using the external radio interface for feedback and the onboard radio interface for control. LCD (Graphic or Text), 16 LED (LFB), and 4 LED feedbacks are supported. Feedback is also supported over Cable Control. The RX-CAN-HL supports configuration of up to four transmit and four receive messages per CAN interface. Each message may be configured for ID, timing, and length. The data source for each bit of a transmit message may be configured for various digital data sources. Each byte of a transmit CAN message may also be configured for various analog data sources. Receive messages may be used for specific functions, such as feedback, or may be used as digital or analog sources for general use. Six relays can be added to RX-CAN-HL using the REL-6X expansion board.
